Its a dry heat

We have had some warm days, but as the picture from one of the yards in the park it's a Dry Hear. LOL . Phyllis couldn't resist taking a picture. We had a good visit with Carolyn's brother Lewis and his better half Phyllis. We, again, went to the Organ Stop Pizza and listened to the greatest organ ever. I have posted about it before. We never get tired of going.

They are off to their trip to New Zealand and Australia and will be back here mid Feburary.

Last Saturday we again got together with Errol and Margaret at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. Afterward we went to their condo in Litchfield Park, near Goodyear West of Phoenix for dinner. We got to look at some model condo's that they are currently selling at bargain prices. Big sign in the club house says "Welcome Canadians". lol.

Carolyn and I have been to a couple of movies too, since we have been here. True Grit (two thumbs up), The Green lantern (one up, one down, guess which was which) and today Black Swan ( two thumbs up) excellent.

So that's some of what we have been up to. Lots of relaxing and of course some shopping, and for me golfing.

What a life.

TTFN,

Ciao & Peace.

UPDATE Finally.....

Well its about time I updated my blog.

The trip down, at the end of Dec, went well overall. No problem at the Siskyous Pass but we did have ice, snow, hard pack at the Tehatchapi Pass, which was unusual. We got to our park in Casa Grande in time to Join the Kirkwoods and Schulers for New Years Eve. Helen & Bev put on a lovely dinner, and we all actually stayed up til Midnight.

Our spot at the park was taken by another resident that was supposed to out by the time we arrived, however, we got a spot for the weekend and on the Monday were given a spot that is actually better than the one we reserved. So we are quite happy.

We have done our setup, shopping trips to Saver's, Costco, Walmart, etc. I have managed 4 golf outings and doing not too badly, well it can always be better, can't it? Margaret and Errol Price, friends from Victoria, are near by (about an hour) and we had them down for supper. This was after I and the two of them got in 18 holes at the Arizona City course. We are getting together with them this Saturday for an outing to the Phoenix botanical gardens and then dinner.

The Kirkwoods are leaving soon so they'll be over for drinks, tomorrow, as we just picked up Lewis and Phyllis, who will be with us for 3 nights until they leave for Los Angeles to fly to Australia. They will be cruising there and part way back. They will be with us for 3 nights in mid February. The Kirkwoods will off for Quartzsite to meet up with the Spragues.

Up to date now. So TTFN
Ciao & Peace.
