We're Back
Well we have been back for 5 days now. An Email from Catherine reminded me I hadn't blogged since our return. To continue from my last post, after the grad we went to the banquet which had enough food to feed the whole village. There was a tremendous variety and everyone enjoyed themselves. The grads got together and cut the grad cake and served the ensemble.The Ousey's up north are all fine. Shawnee and Sierra have grown so much since we last saw them, getting so grown up. Overall the trip was too short, but with school not being over and Mike and Char having to work, not to mention that Mom back home was having a bad time we headed straight back. She has been much better since we have been home which makes me suspect that here main problem was that we weren't here. Well she was recovering from her congestive heart failure. The diuretics were working but didn't complete the work until recently. She is feeling pretty chipper now. She enjoyed Dorothy, Joe and Marigold's visit while we were away.
So the trip back was quick and we ran into snow coming out of 100 mile house. Couldn't believe it. The weather the rest of the way was fine. So that's it for another trip north. Hopefully we can make the next one longer and get out and enjoy some of the beautiful scenery up there.
