Sunny days, then, rain again
Well we had some very nice sunny weather; able to use the pool and hot tub. Got out to the driving range etc. Rod and Karen were in for 3 days. Nice to see them again, we had a nice dinner and chat with them the evening before they departed for Casa Grande. We were hoping to have them and the Kirkwoods back for Rob's birthday today but had to cancel due to both sickness and weather. Rob is still suffering from a bad cold (he blames me... but?) and our nice weather has ended for a couple of days. Another storm coming through today, so it will just be the Robinson's and ourselves for his birthday. The big 60 too. Happy Birthday you old trout.
We went to Olive Garden the other night and it is still as great as ever. We haven't been for a long time, mostly due to long wait times, but we were only half hour wait this time.
Just as I was about to publish this, the skies opened up. Getting a good pour. One thing for sure Arizona needs this. We are also looking forward to some blooms. With all this rain we are hoping the local flora will bloom early this year.
Time to curl up with a good book.
Ciao, and Peace.

Tucson, Desert Pueblo, Janet & George
We have been at the Desert Pueblo RV Resort, 6 days now, with Rob and Sue. What a beautiful RV park. It is clean, very well maintained, large, mature trees and cacti. The lots are very roomy, however, 80 % of the park is park models, which is fine as they all are so nicely landscaped. We are very happy that we took a chance on this one. We haven't spent a lot of time in Tucson and this gives us that chance.
Carolyn's cousin Janet and George visited us. We had them for dinner and yesterday we spent the day with them visiting the Saguaro National Park, then George and I golfed while the girls shopped. They were staying at the Westin La Paloma resort. A gorgeous resort with a golf course, which we both enjoyed. A nice Italian dinner at Carrabba's topped of the day. They are a wonderful couple and we always enjoy their company.
Today Rob and I went to a birthday party for his friend Ron Wong at the Golden Phoenix chinese restaurant. We have been there before and the food is always great. It was good to see Ron and his family again.
